Corbett Design was founded by, Mike and Debbie Corbett, in 2018. We were married in 2017 and began to look for something we love to do and could do together as a team. Debbie’s love of quilting inspired her to attempt to teach Mike how to quilt. Mike with Debbie’s guidance pieced together his first quilt and found out that he too loved quilting. This led us to see how we could utilize quilting as a business we could do together. The search was on. When Mike saw the Gammill Statler Stitcher with it’s computerized CAD machine, he was sold, having been a longterm computer guy. 

Debbie has been quilting for over twenty years. She started out using her domestic sewing machine and for years did her own free motion quilting on everything from table runners to king sized quilts. She always dreamed of having a longarm quilting machine. When she saw the Gammill Statler Stitcher and started doing free motion on it, she was sold. Now she appreciates the precision of the computerized quilting. Mike and Debbie purchased "Gertie" and remodeled two bedrooms into one large room and now have the perfect quilting studio.
